Besides our beautiful setting and terrain, this daily 3pm tradition might just be Beaver Creek’s most renowned claim to fame. Look for the guest service employees in red with chef hats at the base of Centennial Express Lift (#6) each day. They’ll be the ones with trays of warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies piled on silver platters.
World renowned talent love making their tour stops at the beautifully appointed Vilar Performing Arts Center. This 535-seat theatre, presents a variety performances including Broadway musicals, concerts, family entertainment, comedy, dance, classical music and more. Our picturesque main Village is full of charms, from the hum of activity amidst stunning alpine views and festive lights to enjoying the world-class shopping and dining. The central ice skating rink is maybe the most iconic spot in Beaver Creek.
This vintage-style, ski-in ski-out candy store at the top of Strawberry Park Express Lift (#12) offers popular favorites as well as special treats you’ll only get here at the Beaver Creek Candy Cabin. Our very own fifth generation candy maker, Michael Mootz Jr., offers high-quality, wax-free chocolate from his company, Colorado Candy. Look out for Mootz Jr.’s chocolate snowmen, ski boots, snowflakes and Beaver Creek bars in gold boxes.
Every Thursday from mid-December through March, the sky lights up with fireworks over Centennial Express Lift. While that’s an incredible experience in and of itself, perhaps even more special is that intermediate and above skiers and snowboarders are invited to participate in the in the glow stick parade prior to the fireworks! GREEN: Head from Centennial Express Lift up to Cinch Express Lift for incredible views on one of a selection of green runs. Get up early for the fresh corduroy – it’s definitely worth it.
BLUE: Rose Bowl is an unforgettable experience, with wide open, gradually sloping terrain and gorgeous views. Another classic Beaver Creek blue experience: Larkspur.
BLACK: You’d be remiss if you didn’t have at least one run down President Ford’s – his favorite run on the mountain!
DOUBLE BLACK: So you think you can ski? Test your skills on the Birds of Prey downhill course! Fast and steep, you’ll have a new appreciation for the racers you watch on TV. You’ll also find plenty of fun terrain over on Grouse Mountain, an advanced skier and snowboarder’s playground.
As the premiere mountain luxury resort, you’d expect nothing less than the most advanced snowmaking systems and snow surfaces. We’ve invested in ensuring the most high quality snow surface possible with the Snow Refresh Project.
